Zaheerabad (Mandal): Awareness and alertness is a great weapon in the prevention of fire accidents and electric short circuit accidents said by Zaheerabad station fire officer (SFO) P. Prashanth. According to his instructions an awareness program on fire safety has been organized for the students of Telangana Minorities Residential School and Junior College Algole Boys-1 Centre of Excellence (COE) Campus for NEET, NDA and JEE situated here in Algole Village of Zaheerabad Mandal. Awareness program has been conducted through a demonstration and the precautionary measures to be taken to control fire hazards and other accidents caused by electrical short circuits etc., in our daily life. The demonstration made the students to get lot of awareness to control fire accidents caused by small mistakes and due to lack of awareness. Principals K.S.Jameel, J.Ramulu appreciated the efforts of Zaheerabad fire department staff for creating awareness on fire safety and preventive measures. The Principals also said that in this program the fire department staff explained the topics such as What is a fire? What is a disaster? The A,B,C,D types of fires. It's Causes, reasons and precautions on fire accidents, how to avoid accidents by following simple techniques and safety rules. Staff also explained about Telangana FIRE Department emergency call number '101'.
Students felt very happy and gave their Valuable feedback at the end of this program. Ashok, Coordinators Nagarjuna, Rahim Pasha, NDA Incharge Ibrahim Rahi, Deputy Warden Samiuddin, Staff Nurses Solomon Raj, Imran, PET Anil, Kazim, Junior Assistants Sagar, Mohammed Irfan, NTS PCE Fayaz, Ambika, Munazzir, Arshad, all the teaching, non-teaching staff of the school and college and students have participated in this program.
